Easy access to the A20 and Limoges to the east, and Confolens and Angoulême (in the Charente) to the west, make it an ideal location for exploring so many different areas. The 2 bedroom cottage is situated in the grounds of Les Hirondelles chambres d'hotes and with the owners on site it is particularly suited to all year round letting. Should you arrive on a cold winter's evening you'll be welcomed with cosy log stove burning. Set in peaceful surroundings, La Petite Maison opens out onto the gardens and the enclosed pool. Maintained to a high standard by resident owners, the gite offers spacious and comfortable family accommodation for 5 persons, close to village shops and amenities including doctor's surgery, pharmacy and bank and well-located for family activities including biking, fishing, golf, canoeing, walking and sightseeing. The accommodation comprises ground floor dining room with large farmhouse table and door to garden, fully equipped kitchen area with gas cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher; living room with stairs leading to 1st floor with views to gardens and swimming pool - 2 double bedrooms (one with twin beds with option of further bed or baby cot) both with en suite shower rooms and double glazed windows. The small patio is perfect for evening barbeques. Guests have full use of the swimming pool which is enclosed in its own peaceful garden. Bikes are available for the family with plenty of maps and information to help you explore the area. Daily or holiday fishing permits for local river and lake fishing. |
